Minolta SRT200 Manual Camera '09

A few days ago, I dug out a really valuable treasure. It is a Minolta SRT200 manual camera that I bought 8 years ago. I love retro cameras because I really learn about the fundamentals of photography-taking and the importance of experimenting with different functions to make the photo shot perfect.

To get away from studying I spent an hour shredding these old pair of boyfriend jeans. The BF didn't like it, he said there are too many holes on the knee part but I think it's good. I almost cut my fingers off with my cutter so if you're ever shredding your jeans, be very very very very careful. I'm planning on getting a pair of lace-up heels to complete the look.

A friend told me to get a little doll/stuffed animal so that it sleeps with me and goes out with me. I will have some company and won't be bored and lonely. I told her it's just an object it's dead and she said "no, trust me! sooner or later you'll build a bond with it and it will start talking to you..." I remember I had a Tweety plush doll when I was little and I couldn't live without it. So I guess it's true :)

Do you have a doll or anything that accompany you and "talk" to you?

I decided to have a small photoshoot before some basketball at the park with some friends. If you're wondering, the answer is No. I did not wear this when playing ball. I drove out to a quiet place, took out my tri-pod, and started taking some shots. It was a great day for taking pictures!

I actually have a blood clot in my toe after someone stepped on my foot during a game.

Yes, i'm chinese.

Today was a public holiday but my college decided to set 2 finals on this long weekend, how wonderful. I'm always interested in learning languages but I never realized how bad my Chinese was until I took Mandarin in my college. I can speak perfectly but I definitely cannot write. I seriously don't understand why Chinese characters have to be so complicated that it gives me a really hard time practicing and learning how the strokes go. I also sometimes do not understand what the Chinese here say cause I'm not that familiar with their slang. Hm, I think I'm just bad.. better stick with English, it's way easier!

I was gonna get that tank top in dark purple but my girl friend told me I should start getting something brighter. I have way too many black & white clothing that she said she's actually bored of looking at me. I'm glad I trusted her. It really pops out and its so summery too! I got these black sandals few weeks ago and I never had a chance to wear them because the weather's kind of weird lately. It's rainy, sunny, cold and hot on a same day and I definitely don't want the rain to ruin them but today I just couldn't resist them anymore.

I was looking through my camera pictures today when I came across a weird habit of mine. From the picture below, most people would speculate that I have fallen asleep. However, I am actually on the phone with my girlfriend. I never noticed until now how comfortable I get when I'm on the phone.

$0 New Shorts.

So I was tidying my closet yesterday and I found a pair of old jeans in the back of it. I got it from my aunt 3 years ago and apparently it's not in style anymore. Since I don't wear them anymore I decided to cut them short so here's my 10000th attempt on recycling clothing. Who'd know a pair of old baggy jeans would turn into this cute summer perfect shorts? The top I'm wearing is actually a dress but I think it looks better this way so I guess I'm going to cut them half again.. haha. The BF is always skeptical about diy clothing, but I'm sure he will change his mind after reading this post. :)

Emotional Diarrhea.

I am so emotional lately. I get hyper about the most random stuff and get upset so easily about the littlest thing. I know how unfair it is to the people around me that they have to suffer my sudden craziness. Don't worry people, I'm working on my temper now. I don't want to be Mady on Jon & Kate. Please cross your fingers for me.

I'm on medication again. My skin is a bitch. I really should not be on my computer right now, but I'm tempted to update our oh-so delicious blog. Oh, my eyes are half-closed.. bye for now.

PS. Recently I'm all over black and white pictures. We are not professional photographers and we don't own any professional cameras. But we do like taking and editing pictures (and try to look pro). So please excuse us for our not-so-decent photography.
